Many variations of long stitch bindings exist. Ours will utilize a single sheet of paper folded to reinforce the spine and covers. Slots cut into the cover turn the spine into sewing supports for the text block. This book is based on models from Karen Hanmer’s Paper Cases and Paper Bindings workshops.

Students will choose from the light grey, dark grey or black options of Khadi paper and a variety of colored thread. When registering please select which color of paper you would prefer. See color samples on here: on Tala’s Website.
